This flight also made the cover of the Aug issue. Nice vertical boost on the M2200. First set of three J420 was set at 4
seconds. Those never lit. The second set of three set at 7 seconds
did light. Problem turned out to be a
short in the igniter wires on the first set.

Some Additional Background History |

I originally started flying rockets in 1970
while in junior high school. Those
were all Estes model rockets flown on A-D motors. |
|
I launched more model rockets in the early
1980's including a few on the "big" F100 motors from Flight
Systems. |
|
|
|
In 1994 Scott and I started launching model
rockets together. We flew quite a few
on A-F motors. |
|
|
|
|
|
In 1995 I started recording all of my
flights. The entries above are all the
flights I have made since July of 1995. |
